Motors Tasmania Cars, a proud part of one of Australia's largest and most dynamic automotive groups, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our high-performing team.

About the Role
This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining accurate customer records, and supporting the broader administrative function.

This is a part-time position, working 30hr between Mon-Fri.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect outstanding debts from customers in a timely and professional manner
• Reconcile customer accounts and finalise end-of-month accounts/statements
• Administer and enforce credit control policy, ensuring compliance
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records
• Resolve invoice queries efficiently and effectively
• Perform remittance and banking reconciliations
• Process new account applications
• Provide detailed reports of overdue debtors for internal audits
• Assist with ad hoc administrative duties as required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
• A proactive approach to building relationships with customers
