Position: Motor Mechanic

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of light vehicles

Diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems

Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer systems to identify and resolve mechanical issues

Replace worn and defective parts and ensure all work meets safety and performance standards

Conduct road testing to confirm quality of repair and service

Communicate repair requirements and outcomes clearly to customers

Keep accurate records of services and parts used

Comply with OH&S standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment

Skills & Qualifications Required:

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification)

At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in mechanical repairs and diagnostics

Strong technical knowledge across all vehicle systems including suspension, drivetrain, and electricals

Proven experience using diagnostic scanning tools and modern workshop equipment

Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction

Full Australian working rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored visa (subclass 482)
