About the role

We are seeking a talented Aluminum/Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our team at Superb Steel Fabrication Pty Ltd. This full-time position is based in Devon Meadows, Victoria and will involve creating high-quality steel and metal products to support our diverse range of clients. such as, custom powder coated aluminium planter boxes, fences, water feature and much more

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

A current car licence is required for this position.

What you'll be doing

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to fabricate custom metal products
Operating various metalworking equipment such as MIG/TIG welders, benders, shears, and grinders to shape, cut, and join metal components
Assembling and finishing fabricated metal products to meet quality and safety standards
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Providing input and suggestions to improve fabrication processes and product quality

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Aluminum/Stainless Steel Fabricator
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aluminium/steel fabrication is required
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Skilled in operating MIG/TIG Aluminium and Stainless steel
Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, and guillotine equipment is essential
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
Completed apprenticeship is required for this role
