As the Commercial Cleaning Estimator, your focus on people and relationships will be vital to the success of this role. You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Bid Manager & Sales Team on a daily basis to prepare accurate estimates that support them in retaining current clients and winning new business.

You must be able to build and maintain strong internal relationships and have the ability to interact with our team to get the best information to allow you to produce winning quotes and estimates in line with our customers’ expectations.

Our head office is located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, but the role can be executed remotely so applications from other areas are welcome.

As our Estimator, you will:

• Develop and maintain strong and positive working relationships with our internal teams and clients (where required);

• Have the proven ability to analyse and understand tender specification documents, pricing templates, floor plans, spatial data and other documentation needed to prepare accurate pricing documents; 

• Understand the impact different private and public sector businesses have on the commercial cleaning estimation processes and allow for this in your price modelling; and 

• Be able to confidently present pricing estimates to the Chief Operating Officer and Bids Manager for review and approval

• Meet deadlines as set by the Chief Operating Officer and Bids Manager to ensure Tenders can be submitted on time

Skills and experience:

• Advanced MS Excel skills;

• Previous experience as an estimator in the commercial cleaning sector (or similar); 

• Ability to track and meet agreed deadlines is essential for this role;

• Strong time management, planning and organisation skills;

• Ability to effectively communicate and build harmonious relationships with employees at all levels of our business; and

• Previous project management skills are highly regarded.
