Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspection, tire rotation and fluid checks.
Use advance diagnostic tools and systems to accurately identify mechanical issues and provide efficient solutions.
Conduct complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission servicing, and replacement of components.
Provide clear explanations to clients about the repair process, estimated timelines and cost projections.
Ensure that all work complies with Australian emission standards and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate and details records of repairs, services performed, parts used and diagnostic findings.
Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient working environment at all times.

Qualifications

Trade qualification, specifically a Certificate IV or Diploma in Automotive Mechanical technology.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
Possession of a valid Australian Open Driver’s License.
Strong proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and a solid understanding of automotive systems.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work.
