They are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their maintenance department at their site in Western Sydney, with an immediate start available.

About the role

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for the following:

• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance to improve efficiency
• Complete changeovers on assembly equipment when required for production
• Provide technical support to Die Setters and Moulding Technicians
• Keep the spare sparts inventory up to date and order any required parts
• Contribute and drive continuous improvement programmes
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

To be successful, you will possess the following:

• Trade qualified
• Strong understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Previous machining/fabrication experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Reconnect Disconnect and PLC experience (highly desired)
• Previous experience working with injection moulding equipment
