Tyeco Pty Ltd is a Queensland based, open builder with over 25 years’ experience in warehouse construction. We are specialized in concrete tilt panels that are built on site and crane lifted in to position. Tyeco Pty Ltd offers the full scope of works from design consultants and certification to practical completion.  

We are looking for a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time position with an average of 40 hours per week.

Role Overview

As an experienced formwork carpenter, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, providing expert formwork services and ensuring the highest standards of quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret site drawings, instructions and plans

• Measure, cut and shape wood or metal

• Build new forms from timber, plywood or plastic and steel as per shop drawings

• Assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install

• Safely operate hand and power tools

• Prepared to assist other trades 

Minimum Requirements:

• AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field

• Carpentry/ concrete: 2 years (Required)

• Machinery: 2 years (Preferred)

• Construction White Card

Desirable Skills:

• Safety procedures knowledge

• Positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in an inclusive team

• Valid Driving License and transport desirable
