Task & responsibilities

Responsibilities

1. 1.Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and

   other mechanical parts to inspect and evaluate condition.

   2. Identify and diagnose mechanical faults in engines and associated components.

   3. Repair or replace worn and defective parts, referring to technical manuals as

   required.

   4.Carry out routine maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine

   tune-ups to ensure vehicles operate efficiently and comply with environmental

   standards.

   5. Reassemble mechanical components following repairs.

   6. Conduct post-repair tests and adjustments to confirm proper operation of systems.

   7. Use diagnostic equipment and computer systems to troubleshoot and assess

   vehicle performance.

   8. May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates, or advise on necessary

   repairs to meet compliance.
