A lovely family located in Waverley is seeking a caring, responsible and experienced long-term nanny to join their household. The role involves caring for a 9 month old boy. 

Ongoing days and hours: Wednesday & Thursday 8am - 6:30pm.

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of childcare expertise, including substantial experience with infants.

• Must bring a high level of maturity, life experience, and proven expertise in working with children, preferably 25 years of age or older. 

• Proficiency in Cantonese is highly desirable.

• Comfortable working in an environment with dogs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and safe care for children. 

• Manage daily routines, including meals, naps, hygiene, and play. 

• Prepare and organise meals and snacks for the children. 

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities. 

• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming household environment through regular housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, tidying, organisation).

• Maintain open, respectful, and regular communication with the parents about the children’s needs, development, and schedules.

• Provide flexibility to adapt to changes in routine, including occasional evening babysitting or support on weekends when required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Must have the maturity and life experience to manage both childcare and household responsibilities with confidence and consistency.

• Comfortable balancing childcare responsibilities with household management duties.

• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Warm, positive, and engaging personality with excellent communication skills.

• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the family’s needs.

• Highly reliable and consistently punctual, with a strong commitment to showing up when scheduled.
