Tecside is currently seeking 10 experienced Painter Blasters for an exciting opportunity with our industry-leading client based in Henderson, WA. Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary heavy engineering and construction services provider, supporting critical sectors including energy, resources, infrastructure, marine, and defence.

As part of the Manufacturing and Fabrication Team, you'll be working at Australia's largest fabrication facility of its kind, contributing to large-scale, high-impact projects in a safety-first, professional environment.

Position Details

Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 50 + hour weeks
Pay Cycle: Weekly
Location Perks: Free onsite parking

Key Responsibilities

Mobilising and demobilising blasting hoppers, spray pumps, and encapsulations
Abrasive blasting to SA 3 standard on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates
Mechanical and hand preparation using orbital sanders and MBX tools
Application of coatings via brush, roller, and primarily airless spray
Completing up to 5-coat application systems
Touch-up work and remediation based on inspection outcomes

What We're Looking For

3-5 years' industry experience in industrial painting and abrasive blasting
Proven competency with airless spray and surface preparation techniques
Relevant Trade Certificate
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Desirable Qualifications:

High-Risk Work Licence - LF (Forklift) and EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
Working at Heights certification
