As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and preparing a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards. You will work closely with our workshop team to ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and with precision.

Task & responsibilities

  • Conduct structural and non-structural repairs on vehicles
  • Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels
  • Perform metalwork, welding, filling, sanding, and preparation for painting
  • Realign body components and ensure all repairs meet safety and quality guidelines
  • Interpret job cards, repair plans and technical documentation
  • Use a range of workshop tools, equipment and machinery safely
  • Liaise with workshop supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Qualification & experience

  • Minimum 12 months full-time work experience as a Panel Beater or in a closely related automotive repair role
  • Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology (or equivalent qualification in the relevant industry)
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and industry standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Full-time work rights in Australia

Desirable

  • Experience working in an accident repair or replacement workshop
  • Exposure to modern vehicle repair technologies and equipment
  • Valid driver’s licence
