Water/Sewer Pipelayer – Sydney Water Key Personnel (Experienced)

About the Opportunity:
An opportunity exists for a highly experienced Water/Sewer Pipelayer to join a leading civil infrastructure contractor working on major projects across the Sydney metropolitan area. This role is suited to a professional with a minimum of five years’ experience in water infrastructure installation and who has previously held Sydney Water Key Personnel status.

The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of high-quality water and sewer infrastructure in accordance with Sydney Water specifications and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of water, sewer, and stormwater pipelines in line with engineering drawings and Sydney Water standards

• Interpretation of construction plans, specifications, and levels

• Safe and effective use of pipe-laying tools and equipment, including laser levels and trench support systems

• Coordination with supervisors and plant operators to ensure efficient workflow

• Maintenance of site safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 4 years’ demonstrated experience in water/sewer pipe laying

• Previously accredited as Sydney Water Key Personnel (or eligible for re-accreditation)

• Current White Card (Construction Induction)

• Confined Space Entry and Excavation/Trenching tickets (highly regarded)

• Thorough knowledge of Sydney Water standards and installation procedures

• Proven ability to work independently and maintain high-quality workmanship

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transportation
