Service Department
With a focus on optimising the life of our clients' assets, we provide services to comply with clients’ specifications, Australian Standards, NFPA and IMO defined requirements.
Our qualified and experienced team can inspect, test, repair, modify and analyse fire protection equipment and integrated systems. We develop maintenance plans and carry out works at site or in our workshop in Canning Vale, Western Australia.
Our services include:
• Site surveys, inspections, and performance testing
• Scheduled onsite servicing ensuring compliance to standards and regulations
• Dry deluge system testing and cleaning (Siron)
• Wet deluge system functional and performance testing
• Foam system functional testing and produced firefighting foam sample testing
• Fire door inspection, servicing, replacement and certification (Rapp Bomek)
• Elastopipe installations (Vipo)
• Repairs, modifications, and upgrades to existing Fire Fighting Ssystems
• Installation and Commissioning of new Fire Suppression Systems
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Service Technician to form an integral part of the Fabrication and Maintenance team based at our Canning Vale workshop.
At Incos we believe in developing our team members and therefore, this role has scope to grow and become more senior as experience and knowledge is gained.
Your duties will include:
Servicing of valves, pressure regulators and associated equipment
Interpreting technical drawings / manuals, installation instructions
Assembly, Sservice, repair, testing and troubleshooting of Integrated Firefighting systems such as:
Deluge systems
Watermist systems
Foam systems
Inert Gas systems
Fire Fighting Equipment such as Firewater Monitors and Hydrants
Firedoors
Elastopipe installation
About You
As an all-in team player, you are probably known for your 'can-do' attitude as much as your analytical thinking, problem solving and attention to detail.
Key Requirements:
Strong focus on safety and quality (essential)
Trade qualifications – Mechanical / hydraulic fitting, or equivalent (essential)
Demonstrated mechanical / hydraulic fault-finding skills, have a flexible approach, and take ownership of a task/job (essential)
Ability to pass pre-employment medical (essential)
Energy Sector work experience, Aviation or Specialised Marine (desirable)
Deluge, Water Mist system or other main extinguishing systems (desirable)
